Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2. URA JUN 08

A daily Choice. With a 1950's aged Wuyi Shui Xian. Heaven!

After notes: For 2008, it is still too young to burn. Spicy and not too balance, but the distinct aroma of the Vuelta Abajo aroma are still prominent. Coco, buttery and loads of fresh fruit notes. Rich Leathery after notes with cedar and sparkling, tangy sensation on the final 3rd. I will give it another 2 years to age.

Parker's Wine Bargains: The World's Best Wine Values Under $25

Many packages hit the studio in this holiday season. One small pack labeled Simon & Schuster particularly caught my eyes. What a wonderful surprise!

My second design for Mr. Parker arrived. The longing is over. What and how to celebrate? A bottle of Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva 2004 under $25 for the occasion, of course with a Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 in a 50 cabin. My new found facebook friend Steve's current fancy. Thanks Steve for the introduction.

The wrapper was one of the sexiest looking habanos on my list. Creamy, oily, tan and inviting, with a savory sheen and aroma. Mouth watering!

Enjoy - T
